Here are just a few of the major projects we have been involved in:
In January 2018, we were awarded a window and door replacement framework for Engie, covering multiple housing associations across the north west. We continue to complete works on this framework and to date, we have supplied and installed over 6000 windows and doors. We are proud to state that we have not received any complaints to date.
In January 2015, we were awarded a £500,000 contract to supply uPVC windows in all Magenta-owned properties. As well as performing the physical labour, we utilised our cloud-based software and ISO-accredited quality systems to keep the client informed at each stage of the process. We have since been awarded further contracts by the same client, thanks to the quality of work we provided.
In October 2014, we were awarded a £150,000 contract with Helena Property Care to supply and install uPVC windows and doors in over 90 of their properties. We were given a short timescale of four months to complete all the work, which we accomplished, earning us further contracts from the same company, totalling more than £400,000 – including full refurbishment of a block of maisonettes and more window and door installation contracts.
We were approached separately by City West Housing Trust’s contracting arms, City West Works in 2015 and Forworks in 2017. The former involved refurbishing vacant properties in Neston and Ellesmere Port within a seven-week schedule, while the latter included replacing windows in over 300 properties within 16 weeks. Both projects were completed on time and under budget, leading to further contracts from the Trust.
In December 2013, we were awarded a £120,000 contract to refurbish the historic Wallasey Town Hall. This Grade II Listed Building required a delicate touch throughout as we liaised with the council’s conservation officer and their supply chain to ensure as much of the original material was reused as possible.
We were instructed to enhance the exterior of the riverfront property at Priory Wharf by installing a protective curtain wall, along with replacing windows and doors with uPVC ones to improve security, energy efficiency, and noise reduction for the high-end apartments.
We have successfully completed various projects for Equans group, spanning locations such as Greengate House, Buckley View, Louise Gardens, Partington Project, Murdishaw, James Lee House, Falconwood and Fairfield Court throughout the North West.
We were awarded a contract to undertake a comprehensive refurbishment and upgrade of the exterior for the Wirral Methodist Housing Association’s approximately 80 properties in the residential neighborhoods of Simpson Street and the surrounding area in Birkenhead, which included the installation of new windows and doors as part of their regular property updates.
We’ve had the privilege of working with Liberty and ForHousing on various projects, including the replacement of window casements with new double-glazed units at Philip Street in Eccles, Manchester. This upgrade not only improved the building’s aesthetics and livability but also enhanced security and energy efficiency, with the installed windows excelling in noise and heat insulation.
We were awarded a contract at Howbeck Court and The Old Ribbon Mill to enhance the accessibility of flats for residents with mobility issues by fitting windows that require less strength to open and open from the bottom, while also incorporating advanced security features for added safety.
We were privileged to work with the Sovini Group and One Vision Housing, retrofitting properties in the North West. As part of the decarbonization process, we installed new external wall insulation in Thackery Gardens and Galsworthy Avenue, using Wetherby Building Systems’ high-quality render, and improved energy efficiency by installing new uPVC windows and doors.
