Buckley View and Louise Gardens

2022 – 5 months – £400,000

Buckley View and Louise Gardens are two streets in the popular residential district of Smallbridge in Rochdale. They are comprised of a mixture of terraced and semi-detached properties, some of which are privately owned, while others are rental properties, managed by EQUANS

We were instructed to retrofit their existing house stock to bring it up to an acceptable standard. This involved fitting new roofs and external wall insulation to all properties. The walls were then finished with brick slips to give the appearance of regular brickwork. We also installed new uPVC windows and composite doors to improve energy efficiency and lower each building’s carbon footprint.

This project was completed under the PAS2030 scheme, which is a British Standards Institute (BSI) standard that details the requirements needed for the installation of energy efficient measures (EEMs) in UK homes. This covers such things as energy efficient doors and windows, insulation, ventilation, hot water systems, and much more.
